Krajnik Dolny [Krainik dɔlnɨ] (German Niederkränig ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It belongs to the urban and rural community Chojna ( Königsberg in der Neumark ) in the Powiat Gryfiński .

The village is located on the east bank of the Oder, directly on the border with the Federal Republic of Germany , opposite the Brandenburg town of Schwedt / Oder . It is located about 10 kilometers northwest of Chojna, 27 km southwest of Gryfino ( Greifenhagen ) and 47 km southwest of Szczecin .

Niederkränig belonged to Germany until 1945 , most recently to the district of Königsberg Nm since 1816 . in the province of Brandenburg . After the Second World War , like all of Eastern Brandenburg , it came to Poland.

The village is connected to the Brandenburg city of Schwedt and the Polish community center Chojna by the German bus route 492. The bus route 492 is - also on the Polish side - integrated into the tariff of the Berlin-Brandenburg transport association .

In addition, Droga krajowa 26 runs through Krajnik Dolny , which turns into federal highway 166 after the Polish-German border . The Droga wojewódzka 122 starts here and leads to Piasecznik .
