Nik Page (born June 22, 1971 in Zossen ) is a German musician from Blankenfelde.

biography

Growing up in East Berlin , the Depeche Mode fan founded the synth-pop band Blind Passengers together with Rayner Schirner in 1987 . The Blind Passengers achieved their commercial breakthrough in 1993 with the songs Walking to Heaven and Born To Die - titles which Radio Fritz made into listener hits. From 1999, her style changed to more rocky sounds, until she broke up in 2001 after a total of five studio albums. The last album Timemachine was released in 2005 as a best-of double album. In 2010, Page re-founded the electro-pop project Blind Passenger .

As part of his solo albums, there were musical collaborations with Eric Fish , Alf Ator , Joke Jay, the last instance , Jürgen Engler , Sven Friedrich, Tanzwut , Corvus Corax , Angelzoom , Koefte De Ville, Joachim Witt, Staubkind and Dirk Scheuber.

His songs Dein Kuss and Mysteryland are best known .

At the side of Joachim Witt , Nik Page brought the concert concept Tiefenrausch into being and in 2006 founded the "classical crossover project" Songs of Lemuria. Together with Michaela Laubach , he interpreted well-known rock and Gothic classics in a chamber music style with piano, cello and vocals.

Nik Page also worked for bands as a songwriter and lyricist, including Kissin 'Dynamite, Angelzoom , Joachim Witt, Beyond The Black, The Dark Tenor, Eisblume and Staubkind, as well as a video director ( Tanzwut, Megaherz and Angelzoom ).
