Nika Razinger (born October 5, 1993 in Jesenice ) is a Slovenian cross-country skier .

Career

Razinger took part in junior races until 2013. She took second place in the U20 overall ranking of the Alpine Cup in the 2011/12 season . In 2011 she took part in the first open U18 cross-country skiing championship , won the bronze medal in the sprint, silver in the individual and came fifth in the mass start. At the Junior World Championships in Erzurum in 2012 , she won gold in the 10 km skiathlon and bronze in the relay. She ran her first World Cup race in Davos at the end of December 2013 , which she finished with 26th place in the sprint and thus won her first World Cup points. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , she reached 60th place over 10 km classic and 27th place in sprint. In February 2015, at the 2015 Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun , she achieved 41st place in the sprint, tenth place with the relay and ninth place in the team sprint. After finishing 64th at the Nordic Opening in Ruka at the beginning of the 2015/16 season, she made it into the points six times in the World Cup season. Her best placement was 12th in the sprint in Lenzerheide . At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , she finished 69th in the 10 km freestyle and 52nd place in the sprint.
