Nikita Nikolajewitsch Jeskow ( Russian: Никита Николаевич Еськов ; born January 23, 1983 in Leningrad ) is a former Russian cyclist .

As a junior rider, Jeskow mainly devoted himself to track cycling . He won the bronze medal in the team pursuit with the Russian team at the UCI World Junior Championships in 2000 . The next year he became world champion in the points race .

In the adult sector, Jeskow drove on the road at the end of the 2002 season with the UCI Continental Team Itera as a trainee and from 2003 with a regular contract with Lokomotiv . He also remained successful on the track and was U23 European champion in the points race in 2003. He also won the team pursuit at the World Cup in Moscow with the national team .

In 2008 he drove for the Professional Continental Team Tinkoff Credit Systems and finished his first Grand Tour with the Vuelta a España in 2008 in 57th place. He also finished seventh overall on the Tour of Asturias . In 2009 and 2010 he was under contract with the UCI ProTeam Katusha and finished 60th in his second Grand Tour , the Giro d'Italia 2009 .

Jeskov ended his international career after the 2012 season with RusVelo .
