Nikita Sergeevich Slobin

Nikita Sergejewitsch Slobin , also Nikita Zlobin ( Russian: Никита Сергеевич Злобин ; born April 4, 1996 in Moscow ) is a Russian automobile racing driver . He is the son of racing car driver Sergei Slobin .

Career

Slobin began his motorsport career in 2011 in Russia in the MegaFon MitJet Cup , which he finished in fourth place. In 2013 Slobin made his debut in formula racing and competed for SMP Racing by Koiranen GP in the Alpine Formula Renault . He reached the 36th place overall. In 2013 , Slobin also competed in three events for ADM Motorsport in the German Formula 3 Cup . In 2014 Slobin completed the entire season in the German Formula 3 Cup for ADM Motorsport. He finished the season in eighth place overall. He also took part in an event of the British Formula 3 Championship with ADM Motorsport . In addition, Slobin competed in six races of the International GT Open in GT racing .

In 2015 Slobin moved to Virtuosi in the Auto GP . After the second race weekend, the season ended prematurely. Slobin finished fourth in the championship. He then moved to Pons Racing in Formula Renault 3.5 . There he took part in the last two events. Slobin also competed in the Ferrari Challenge Europe . In 2016 , Slobin received a cockpit at Teo Martín Motorsport in the Euroformula Open . He finished the season in 18th place overall.
