Nikolai Pavlovich Kostitschkin ( Russian: Николай Павлович Костичкин ; born March 24, 1989 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Schachzjor Salihorsk in the Belarusian extra league since December 2011 .

Career

Nikolai Kostitschkin began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Krylya Sovetov Moscow , where he was active until 2005. He then played for two years for the second team of Severstal Tscherepowez in the third class Pervaya League . In the 2007/08 season , the attacker ran for the professional team of HK Ryazan in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division, and the second team of Metallurg Novokuznetsk in the Pervaya League. After he had played in the 2008/09 season for the professional team of his ex-club PHK Krylja Sowetow Moscow in the Wysschaja Liga, he played for one and a half years for the junior team Tolpar Ufa in the multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga .

In early 2011 Kostitschkin was committed by Vitjas Chekhov from the Continental Hockey League . By the end of the 2010/11 season he scored one goal and five assists in 16 games for the KHL team of Vityas Chekhov. He also scored two goals and two assists in four games for the club's MHL team. The Russian started the 2011/12 season at Vitjas in the KHL, for which he was only used twice before he also played two games for the Ukrainian club HK Donbass Donetsk from the Vysschaya Hockey League later in the season . In December 2011 he moved to HK Schachzjor Salihorsk from the Belarusian extra league .
