Nicholas VI (Opava-Ratibor)
Nicholas VI von Ratibor (also Nikolaus VI. von Troppau-Ratibor ; Czech: Mikuláš VII. Ratibořský ; * around 1478 , † 1506 ) was Duke of Ratibor from 1493 until his death in 1506 . He came from the Troppau-Ratibor family of the Troppauer Přemyslids .
Life
His parents were Johann III. of Ratibor and Magdalena († 1501), a daughter of the Opole Duke Nikolaus I.
After the death of the father, Nicholas VI inherited. and his brothers Johann IV and Valentin the Duchy of Ratibor, which they jointly administered.
Nicholas VI married around 1505 to Anna († around 1530), a daughter of the Krakow chamberlain Zbigniew Tęczyński , but died a year later without heirs. Since his brother Johann IV died in the same year, the youngest brother Valentin was the sole heir of the estate.
