Nikopol ( Ukrainian Нікополь ; Russian Никополь ) is a village in the southeast of the Ukrainian Oblast Kharkiv with 950 inhabitants (2001).
The village lies at an altitude of 85 m on the right bank of the Suchyj Torez , a 97 kilometers long left, tributary of the Kasennyj Torez and administratively belongs to the district municipality ( Гусарівська сільська рада ) in the southeast of the Barwinkowe district .
Nikopol is located three kilometers west of the community center Hussarivka ( Гусарівка ), ten kilometers east of the district center Barwinkowe and 170 kilometers southeast of the oblast center Kharkiv . The village near the border with Donetsk Oblast has a train station on the Poltava – Rostov railway line between Slovyansk and Losowa .
