Nils Lennart Dejworek (born April 19, 1995 in Ulm ) is a German basketball player.

Player career

As a teenager, Dejworek first moved from TSG Söflingen to BG Vöhringen, then to the Urspring School , for which he played in the youth basketball league and the youth basketball league . In 2013 he went to the United States, played one year for the Frederick J. Furtah Preparatory School in the state of Georgia , followed by another year at Valdosta State University . In 25 games for the team from the University of Georgia Dejworek scored a total of 40 points and 29 rebounds.

He returned to Germany after the 2014/15 season and embarked on a professional career. In July 2015 he was signed by the second division Gotha Rockets . During the 2015/16 season Dejworek booked five appearances for Gotha and, thanks to a second game right (“double license”), mainly gained playing experience with the regional division BC Erfurt .

In July 2016 Dejworek switched to Bundesliga club Medi bayreuth . His contract was terminated in mid-February 2017; he had previously played two Bundesliga games for Bayreuth and was mainly used in the second men's team in the regional league.

For the 2017/18 season he returned to TSG Söflingen (2nd regional league).

Private

Dejworek comes from a basketball family. His older brothers Philip and Michael were basketball professionals before they embarked on coaching careers. His father Leopold was a Polish national player, played in Germany and worked as a coach.
