Nils Habbe

Nils Habbe (born November 14, 1976 in Herten ) is a German surgeon.

Life

Habbe studied medicine at the Philipps University in Marburg . In his Corps Hasso-Nassovia he was twice senior , once each consenior , subsenior and chestnut major as well as SC senior and second , and later also a pulp doctor . In spring 2004 he passed the state examination with an overall grade of "very good". In 2005 he was awarded a Dr. med. PhD. He then did a postdoc at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore.

At the Clinic for Visceral, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery at the University Hospital of Marburg, he completed his specialist training in surgery . He went to the Clinic for General and Visceral Surgery at the University Hospital in Frankfurt am Main as a senior physician . In 2014 he completed his habilitation. In March 2017 he was appointed to the German Clinic for Diagnostics as chief surgeon . Habbes focuses on pancreatic cancer and proctology . On January 24, 2018, he was appointed adjunct professor at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . There he teaches coloproctology.
