Nina Isabela Rocha Miranda (born March 30, 1970 in Brazil ) is a British musician . She was the front singer of the bands Smoke City , Shrift and ZEEP, and she has also made a number of individual releases.

Live and act

She is the daughter of the Brazilian artist Luiz Aquila da Rocha Miranda . At the age of eight she left Brazil with her British mother and moved to England; she lived in France for a while. Nina Miranda was in a relationship with her bandmate Chris Franck until 2011 and has two sons with him.

Miranda's musical role models are mainly Brazilian artists such as Gilberto Gil , Caetano Veloso and Carmen Miranda .
