Nina Zanjani
Nina Zanjani (born September 1, 1981 ) is a Swedish actress with Persian roots who lives in Stockholm .
Life
Nina Zanjani was a student at the Stockholms Elementära Teaterskola (SET) from 2004 to 2007 and graduated from the Stockholm Theater School in 2007. She worked in the performances of Festen and Woyzeck of the Kungliga Dramatiska Teatern (short: Dramaten, Royal Dramatic Theater ) and in 2005 played Josie in the sensational performance by Rona Munros Järn (German: Eisen) at the Gothenburg Backatheater.

In Helena Bergström's directorial debut Se upp för dårarna , she took on a leading role as the daughter Yasmin. Since 2007 she has been a member of Göteborgs Stadsteater, where they, among other things, the role of Queen Elizabeth in Don Carlos represented and the play Night Rider by Björn Runge occurred. In 2010 she played the title role in Klara's Journey, and in 2011/2012 she took part in a collaboration with the Tanzanian theater group Theater Lab in the title role in Antigone and in a staging of Bibles by Niklas Rådström . In 2013/2014 she was Eliza in Pygmalion , and since 2014 the title role in Miss Julie .
In addition, she was engaged in the production of Nathan the Wise at Stockholm's Stadsteater. In 2015/2016 Zanjani appeared as Ophelia in Hamlet at the Dramaten in Stockholm, where she has returned.
In the film and television sector, she played in the series Selma über Selma Lagerlöf on the Swedish TV channel SVT and in 2010 in Josef Fares Farsan . In German-speaking countries, Nina Zanjani is best known as the police candidate Isabell Melin in twelve of 13 episodes of the second season of the television series Mankells Wallander . Her involvement there ended with the episode "Indrivaren" (German: "Inkasso"), in which Isabell leaves the Ystad police .
