Nindorf am Walde is a district of the municipality of Hanstedt (Nordheide) in the Harburg district in Lower Saxony .
The place is located south of the core map Hanstedt at the junction of the national road L 216 in the L 213 East runs the A 7 .
Nindorf is a clustered village . The core of the village is formed by courtyards under mighty oaks and is partly still surrounded by boulder walls. The landscape consists of heather and wooded hills, the Toppenstedter Forest and the Garlstorfer Forest, the Auetal and the Hanstedter Mountains. Nindorf was first mentioned in a document in 1162. It lies on the edge of the Lüneburg Heath , between the Schmalen Aue and the Garlstorfer Walde. It is one of the smallest villages in the joint municipality of Hanstedt , it is parish after Egestorf .
The landmark of Nindorf consists of a pedunculate oak and a red spruce , which have grown together at the foot, and thus form the "Nindorf couple" ( natural monument of the Harburg district: ND WL 00005 )
