Nisse (musician)

Nisse (* in Hamburg , real name Nisse Ingwersen ) is a German singer-songwriter from Hamburg.

Life

Nisse was born in Hamburg and grew up in the Hamburg-Harburg district . He went to school in the UK for a year and it was there that he discovered his love for rap music. At the age of 17 he moved back to Hamburg. There he founded with friends a hip-hop - band , but soon broke up again due to lack of success. Nisse then began to write lyrics and produce music himself . He made up his Abitur and started training as a media clerk . After he sent out a few demo tapes, the Berlin record label Four Music noticed him and signed him. His debut album August was released on September 4, 2015.

Nisse worked as a songwriter for Peter Maffay and Matthias Schweighöfer , among others . Nisse was also involved in the creation of Michael Schulte's song You Let Me Walk Alone , with which he took fourth place for Germany at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest .
