The Nokia Lumia 610 is a smartphone of the Lumia series from the Finnish manufacturer Nokia . It is the first Windows Phone device with lower hardware requirements and the aim of reaching a different target group with cheaper Windows Phone cell phones. The Lumia 610 is the first Windows Phone device to appear in a version with the NFC transmission standard.
Technical specifications
The Lumia 610, which is aimed primarily at beginners and a younger target group such as schoolchildren and students, is the third Nokia mobile phone with the Windows Phone 7 operating system from Microsoft . Various social network applications and a Microsoft Office app are preinstalled on the device. The latter allows the editing of documents in the mobile versions of Word, PowerPoint and Excel. The OneNote application , which is also integrated, allows you to save notes and voice messages. The smartphone, which is equipped with a 3.7-inch touchscreen, has an 800 MHz processor and 256 MB RAM, which is only half the size of the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 .
Introduction and sales
The Lumia 610 was presented on February 27, 2012 together with the Nokia Lumia 900 model at the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona. The start of sales in German retail was announced on May 24, 2012.
