Nolan Roux (born March 1, 1988 in Compiègne ) is a French football player who has been under contract with Olympique Nîmes since January 2020 . His preferred position is the storm.

Career

Roux played for SM Caen , AS Beauvais and RC Lens in his youth . From the 2008/09 season he was part of the professional squad of RC Lens, where he came on September 15, 2008 for his first and only use for Lens in Ligue 2 . For the 2009/10 season he moved to Stade Brest , where he made promotion to Ligue 1 and was his team's top scorer. In January 2012, Roux moved to Lille OSC, where he signed a contract valid until June 30, 2016. A year before his contract expired, Roux was sold to league rivals AS Saint-Étienne . He stayed here for two years and then moved to FC Metz for one season , where he scored 15 goals this season. The striker played for first division club EA Guingamp from 2018 to 2020 . Roux has been playing for Olympique Nîmes since January 2020 .

National team

On March 2, 2010, he made his first appearance for the French U-21 national team when he was on the starting line-up for the game against Croatia (3-1) and scored two goals straight away.
