Nora Schlocker

Nora Schlocker (* 1983 in Rum (Tyrol) ) is an Austrian theater director. From 2003 to 2007 she studied directing at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin .

Her diploma production was Lukas Bärfuss ' Der Bus at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe . She staged several plays at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin . In 2008 she made her debut with Liliom at the Nationaltheater Weimar , where she became the in-house director.

From 2011 to 2014 she worked as in-house director at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus , where she made her debut with Gerhart Hauptmann's Einsame Menschen . She also worked at the Schauspielhaus Vienna , the State Theater Stuttgart , the Bavarian State Theater , the Centraltheater Leipzig and the Deutsches Theater Berlin .

From 2015 to 2019 she was in-house director at Theater Basel . She has been in-house director at the Residenztheater Munich since the 2019/2020 season .
