Wilfried Domoraud (born August 18, 1988 ) is a French - Ivorian football player who plays for Gżira United in Malta .
Athletic career
Domoraud began his career in France with AS Nancy and moved to England in 2007 for Yeovil Town . After stints at Weymouth FC and FC Woking , the midfielder had been without a club for a year before the Austrian second division club FC Dornbirn took him on. There he was able to convince and one year later moved to league competitor TSV Hartberg in Styria . After another year he was signed by the Bundesliga club SV Mattersburg .
Domoraud made his debut in the top Austrian division on July 16, 2011 against SC Wiener Neustadt when he played through. In total, he came to 13 more missions that season. After another season and relegation from the Bundesliga, he moved to the former competitor in the relegation battle, FC Admira Wacker Mödling . In the 2-0 win against Rapid Vienna on August 18, 2013 in the Südastadt, Domoraud scored his first goal for Admira and prepared the second goal. After scoring six goals in 34 games in his first season for the Südstadt team, minor injuries threw him back in preparation for the 2014/15 season. With just six games in autumn 2014, the Frenchman fell short of expectations. Domoraud returned to France for family reasons during the winter break. After Domoraud was without a club from July 2015 to January 2016 after his contract with AC Arles-Avignon ended , he was hired on January 31, 2016 in the Danish Super League at Hobro IK . After the 2017/18 season he left the club and moved to the Ħamrun Spartans in Malta . In January 2020 he then joined league rivals Gżira United .
