Norbert Brodine

Norbert Brodine (born December 16, 1896 in Saint Joseph , Missouri , † February 28, 1970 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American cameraman.

Life

After his military service in World War I, Norbert Brodine found a job as a cameraman. His specialty was black and white photography, which could create gloomy scenarios when it came down to it. However, he has also worked on numerous comedies, including several films with Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy . Brodine was valued for his documentary skills, as he knew how to work not only in the studio but also in open-air locations. From 1952 Brodine only worked for television.
