Norbert Eberle

Norbert Eberle (born November 29, 1954 in Marktoberdorf / Allgäu ) is a German painter, graphic artist and art teacher .

Life

Eberle studied from 1978 to 1983 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Mac Zimmermann and Horst Sauerbruch . He has received several grants, including a grant from the Prinzregent Luitpold Foundation in 1998 .

Since 1998 Eberle has been a lecturer for creative media at the Faculty of Social Sciences (Faculty 11) of the Munich University of Applied Sciences .

Between 2005 and 2013 he worked in the ceramics workshop San Giorgio of Giovanni Poggi in Albissola Marina (Italy) and since 2013 in the ceramics workshop Ceramica Gatti in Faenza (Italy).

In 2016 he graduated from the University of Augsburg with a degree in art education as a Bachelor of Education and - also in Augsburg - as a Master of Education in 2018.

Norbert Eberle is married to the artist Annette Lucks . He lives in Munich and is a member of the New Munich Group .

In Eberle's work, artistic printmaking, in particular etching as a medium for illustration and the design of portfolio works, is of great importance. In 2001, in collaboration with the author Barbara Zoeke, the artist's book Rives was published with six etchings and six poems from the cycle water levels .

Public purchases were made by the Bayerische Staatsgemäldesammlungen in Munich, the Deutsche Guggenheim in Berlin, the Ingolstadt City Museum and the City Museum “ Empty Bag ” in Regensburg.
