Norbert Hoyer (born October 17, 1942 ) is a former German soccer player . The defensive player completed a league game for SV Werder Bremen in the 1969/70 season in the Bundesliga .

Career

Hoyer, like his two teammates Jürgen Keuert and Walter Plaggemeyer, was taken over from the amateur team to the professional team of Werder Bremen professionals in the current 1969/70 season. After the replacement of coach Fritz Rebell on March 16 and the successor to Hans Tilkowski from March 17, 1970, the defensive player's hour for the Werder Amateurs struck on March 28 at the away game at Eintracht Braunschweig. Tilkowski operated in Braunschweig in defense in front of goalkeeper Günter Bernard with cleaners Arnold Schütz , the three defenders Josef Piontek , Hoyer and Horst-Dieter Höttges , as well as in the defensive midfield with Herbert Meyer , Heinz Steinmann and John Danielsen . Debutant Hoyer primarily had to deal with header specialist Hartmut Weiß as a pre-stopper . The game was won 2-1. In the Bundesliga Chronik , Hoyer's debut is noted: “The young Hoyer was thrown into the deep end and made himself very respectable against White. A good Bundesliga debut for the amateur. ”But it was Hoyer's only Bundesliga appearance.

After the season he switched to OT Bremen as a player- coach . In the southeast of Bremen, he initiated a sporting upswing on Schevemoor. In 1972, after two consecutive promotions, he made his first jump to the Bremen House of Lords. Previously, OT prevailed 4: 3 in the decider against TSV Lesum . In the same year, the team reached the final of the Bremen Cup , which was lost, however, 1: 4 against the Hasteder TSV .

1975 OT was champion of the state league and missed as second in the promotion round to the Oberliga Nord behind SV Eintracht Nordhorn the promotion to the north German upper house. At the same time, the team qualified for the DFB Cup for the first time and lost on August 3, 1975 in the first round match at the 2nd Bundesliga club Mainz 05 with 2: 7. Hoyer ran in the Bruchweg Stadium in Mainz as a Libero and scored the 1: 4 goal in the 47th minute.
