Norbert Kandel

Norbert Kandel (* 1955 in Celle ) is a German journalist and author .

Life

Norbert Kandel completed an internship at the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung in Essen in 1979 , before working as an editor for the Neue Presse in Hanover .

From 1981 Kandel worked as a freelancer , writing articles for Die Zeit , Stern , Süddeutsche Zeitung and the Frankfurter Rundschau , for example .

Since 1983 Norbert Kandel writes as Lower Saxony - correspondent for the IG Metall trade union published weekly metal or metal newspaper . For the article published therein Death in the Welfare State . Victim of an apparatus , he received the German Social Prize from the Federal Association of Free Welfare Care (BAGFW)

Kandel also published several books and numerous travel reports .
