Norbert Stresau
Norbert Stresau (* 1960 in Lindau ; † December 13, 1991 ) was a German film scholar , film journalist and non-fiction author . He was one of the German specialists for fantastic films and horror films .
After graduating from high school, Norbert Stresau first studied pharmacy , but then decided against a career as a pharmacist and became a freelance author. From 1982 he wrote the film report for the film yearbook published by Wilhelm Heyne Verlag , published various non-fiction books and from 1986 published the loose-leaf collection Encyclopedia of Fantastic Films at Corian Verlag . He also worked as a translator. In 1988 he was awarded the German Fantasy Prize for the encyclopedia of fantastic films .
Norbert Stresau suddenly died of heart failure at the age of 31.
