The Nordersteinstraße in Cuxhaven is approximately 0.5 km long shopping street. It leads in a south-north direction from Südersteinstraße to Kämmererplatz and to Rohdestraße, Deichstraße and Poststraße .

After Ritzebüttel and Alt-Cuxhaven were united in 1872, the local area was expanded to a greater extent. The Nordersteinstraße between the Ritzebüttel Castle and the Ritzebüttler Schleuse is one of the oldest streets in Cuxhaven. In the 19th century there were numerous shops on the street. In 1846 it was paved with clinker bricks. It has been a lively pedestrian zone since 1975.
