The Post Road in Cuxhaven is a 1.1 km long, old main street. It leads in a south-east-north-west direction from Bahnhofstraße / Nordersteinstraße / Kaemmerplatz to the field path in Döse .

Surname

The street was named after the post office that stood on the street until 2000 (today Segelckestrasse). From 1933 to May 1945 it was named after the Reich Labor Minister Franz Seldte ( Der Stahlhelm , Harzburger Front , NSDAP ).

After Ritzebüttel and Alt-Cuxhaven were united in 1872 , the local area was expanded to a greater extent. The road was part of the field path and became Poststraße in 1905 with the construction of a post office.

In terms of traffic, the road is opened up by the KVG bus lines 1018 and affected by other bus lines.
