Nordholz is a district of the municipality of Warpe in the district of Nienburg / Weser in Lower Saxony ( Germany ).

Nordholz is 19 km northwest of the district town of Nienburg / Weser between Bremen (48 km) and Hanover (68 km).

The village of Nordholz with the hamlet of Mahlenstorf is 3.54 km² and has about 190 inhabitants.

history

The place Nordholz emerged from around 1200 through settlement from the neighboring place Helzendorf . Mahlenstorf has been around for a long time. In 1901 a steam dairy was built. The Raiffeisenwarengenossenschaft was founded in 1919. In 1960, the Mittelweser Tiefbau GmbH & Co KG company set up shop in Nordholz. Since the community reform, which came into force on March 1, 1974, Nordholz has been part of the community of Warpe .
