Latvia was among the International Ski Federation retroactively to the third Nordic World Ski Championships explained FIS race of 1926 in Lahti in Finland by an athlete represented.

The Latvian participant, the track and field athlete Arthur Motmiller ( Latvian : Artūrs Motmillers ) was registered for the two cross-country skiing competitions . In the competition over the distance of 30 km he had to end the race prematurely, over the long distance of 50 km he did not start.
