Sweden was among the International Ski Federation retroactively to the third Nordic World Ski Championships explained FIS race of 1926 in Lahti in Finland represented by 10 athletes.

The Swedish participants mostly competed in cross-country skiing over 30 and 50 km and achieved fourth and two fifth places through Sven Åström and Gustaf Jonsson . In the Nordic combined , Verner Pettersson achieved seventh place as the best in his country, in ski jumping no Swede was able to place in the top ranks.
