North Omak is a census-designated place (CDP) in Okanogan County in the US state of Washington , north of Ornak . The community is considered part of Greater Omak and had 688 inhabitants at the 2010 United States Census . Among the CDP in Washington, North Omak ranks 182nd in population.

As of the 2000 census , North Omak had 688 residents, 207 households and 166 families. The population density was 23.7 per km ². There were 220 housing units at an average density of 7.6 per km².
The population consisted of 13.52% whites , 73.55% Indians , 8.28% other "races" and 4.65% of two or more "races" . Hispanics or Latinos of "any race" made up 14.68% of the population.
Of the 207 households, 53.6% had children under the age of 18, 34.3% were run by married couples living together , 30.4% by single mothers; 19.8% were non-families. 15.9% of the households were singles and 2.4% were single people over 65 years of age. The average household size was 3.32 and the average family size was 3.51.
The median age in the city was 25 years. 39.4% of the population were under 18, 9.7% between 18 and 24, 31.7% between 25 and 44, 15.7% between 45 and 64 and 3.5 65 years or older. For every 100 women there were 98.3 men, for those over 18 years of age there were 94 men for every 100 women.
All information on median income relates to the median. The median household income was US $ 25,500 and that of families was US $ 22,788. Men had a median income of US $ 20,227 compared to US $ 23,688 for women. The per capita income was US $ 8,971.
