According to the American myth, Santa Claus lives at the North Pole. For this reason, the United States Postal Service operates a Christmas Post Office in North Pole.
Satellite station
The Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) operates the North Pole Satellite Station near North Pole. Due to its location in the polar region, it is particularly suitable for satellites with a high orbit inclination. This station can receive satellite data as well as send control signals to the satellites.
