The North Pole Stream is a left tributary of the Little Southwest Miramichi River in the Canadian province of New Brunswick .
River course
The river is in the west of Northumberland County in the central north of the province. The North Pole Stream arises at an altitude of 405 m at the confluence of the West Branch and East Branch North Pole Stream . The 5.5 km long West Branch has its origin in Half Moon Lake . The 7 km long East Branch rises north of North Pole Mountain at an altitude of 630 m .
The North Pole Stream flows in a predominantly south-southeast direction. After 32 km it flows into the Little Southwest Miramichi River at an altitude of 270 m , 70 km above its mouth in the Northwest Miramichi River . The river has numerous rapids.
The North Pole Stream is a spawning area for Atlantic salmon .
