The Northern Ontario Championships 2014 took place April 2-5, 2014 in Greater Sudbury , Canada . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2013/14 and belonged to the international category 25 .

The defending champion was Marwan Elshorbagy , who was able to reach the final again this year. In this he was defeated by Stephen Coppinger with 6:11, 11:13 and 4:11. For Coppinger it was the eighth career title.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard got Michael McCue a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize money was $ 25,000.
