Norvin Leineweber

Norvin Leineweber (* 1966 in Rees ) is a German sculptor and graphic artist.

Leineweber attended the Collegium Augustinianum Gaesdonck from 1976 until his Abitur in 1985 , where Franz Joseph van der Grinten was one of his teachers . From 1987 to 1994 Leineweber studied at the State Art Academy in Düsseldorf , most recently as Günther Uecker's master class . Leineweber interrupted his studies in Düsseldorf in 1991/1992 for a year of study with Stanislav Kolibal at the Prague Art Academy . From 1995 he received a scholarship in the Atelierhaus Bonn . From 2002 to 2008 Leineweber taught as a lecturer at the Chair of Plastic at RWTH Aachen University . Norvin Leineweber has presented his work in numerous solo exhibitions since 1995. In February 2015 he was awarded the first prize in the art-in-building competition of the German Bundestag - Wilhelmstrasse 64 for the “art location foyer on the ground floor and inner courtyard”.
