The Nosal is a 1206 meter high mountain near Zakopane in the Polish West Tatras northeast of the Giewont massif . From the top there is a panoramic view of Zakopane and the Tatra Mountains .
The way to the mountain is moderately difficult. The following hiking routes are available:
- Way from Kuźnice (45 min.)
- Walk from Aleja Przewodników Tatrzańskich (50 min.)
Location and surroundings
Below the summit lie the Dolina Strążyska and Dolina Małej Łąki valleys .

The Nosal is popular with hikers. The Nosal ski area is located on its northern slopes .
Routes to the summit
Hiking trails lead to the summit.
- ▬ A green marked trail leads from Zakopane district Kuźnice to the summit.
- ▬ A yellow marked hiking trail leads from the Nosalowa Przełęcz mountain passto the top.
The Kondratowa Hut , Ornak Hut and the Kalatówki Mountain Hotel are ideal starting points for an ascent from the valleys .
