The Noska ( Russian Носка ) is a left tributary of the Irtysh in the Russian Oblast of Tyumen .
The Noska has its origin in the small lake Noskinbasch . It flows through the West Siberian lowlands initially in an easterly direction, later in a northeastern direction. The most important tributary, the Laima , meets the Noska at river kilometer 207 from the right. The Noska finally flows into the lower reaches of the Irtysh - 30 km above its mouth into the Ob .
The Noska has a length of 374 km. It drains an area of 8560 km². The Noska is fed to a large extent by the snowmelt . In the months of April to June the Noska floods . The river is ice-covered from late October to early May.
The lower course of the Noska forms a spawning area for sturgeon and a habitat for vendace . The otter occurs in the Noska river system.
