Noureddine Hadid (born January 28, 1993 ) is a Lebanese sprinter .

Athletic career

For the first time in an international championship Noureddine Hadid appeared at the Asian Indoor Championships 2014 in Hangzhou , where he was eliminated in the 400-meter run with 49.63 s in the first round. In 2015 he took part in the 100-meter run and over 200 meters in the Asian Championships in Wuhan , but did not make it to the finals in both competitions. Previously, he finished seventh in the 200-meter run at the Arab Championships in 22.09 s . In October he was eliminated from both competitions in the preliminary stages of the World Military Games in Mungyeon, South Korea . The following year he took part in the 60-meter run at the Asian Indoor Championships in Doha , but also retired there with 7.04 s in the first round. In 2017 he made it to the semi-finals at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar over 100 meters, in which he was eliminated with 10.71 seconds. Over 200 meters he was eliminated in the preliminary round and was disqualified in the preliminary round with the Lebanese 4 x 100 meter relay.

In 2018 he was eliminated again in the first round at the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran over 60 meters, but set a new national record with 6.92 s, which only lasted for a short time. In August he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta , where he was eliminated over 100 meters in the first round and over 200 meters reached the semi-finals, in which he was eliminated with 21.22 s. The following year he was sixth over 100 meters in the Arab Championships in Cairo in 10.70 s. Shortly afterwards he reached fourth place at the Asian Championships in Doha with a new national record of 20.85 s and was eliminated in the semifinals over 100 meters with 10.41 s, also a national record. Thanks to a wildcard, he was allowed to start at the World Championships in Doha over 200 meters at the end of September and was eliminated there with 20.84 seconds in the lead . He then finished sixth over 100 and 200 meters at the Military World Games in Wuhan in 10.62 s and 21.10 s respectively.

In 2017 Hadid was the Lebanese champion in the 100 and 200 meters, as well as in 2018, where he was also champion in the 4 x 100 meter relay. In 2019 he won the 100, 200 and 400 meters.
