Novoschywotiw ( Ukrainian Новоживотів ; Russian Новоживотов Novoschiwotow , Polish Żywotów ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Oblast Vinnytsia with about 1400 inhabitants (2001).

The village, founded in 1640 on the banks of the Roska , a 73 km long right tributary of the Ros , was a town with 1,100 inhabitants in the 17th century.

The 200  m high village used to be called Schywotiw / Żywotów or Staryj Schywotiw . Novozhyvotiv is the only village in the district council of the same name in Orativ district . The regional road P-17 runs through the village .

The Orativ district center is 9 km south and the Vinnytsia oblast center is about 90 km west of Novozhyvotiv.
