Numo Kujabi

Numo Kujabi (* 1969 in Kalimu , Foni Bondali , † April 8, 2014 in Serekunda ) was a civil servant in the West African state of Gambia . He was director general of the Gambian intelligence service, the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).

Life

Kujabi joined the police force in 1981 in the Gambia Police Force . He has since resigned from the police force and in 1996 he rejoined. He served as Deputy Officer Commanding Police Criminal Investigation Unit (CIU) in Banjul from 2007 when he was appointed Director General of the NIA, effective August 10, 2009. He replaces Modou Lamin Badjie in this position and stayed until March 13, 2013. He then returned to the police force.

In 2014, Kujabi died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 44 before going on duty at the police headquarters in Banjul.
