Career

Mushewki made his debut in 2007 for CAPS United in Zimbabwean adult football . The following year he won the national cup with the club, and in 2009 he played for the Zimbabwean national team for the first time. In November he won the COSAFA Senior Challenge 2009 with the national team , in the final he contributed two goals to the 3-1 victory over Zambia . In 2010 he moved to South Africa for the Mamelodi Sundowns . In the championship organized by the Premier Soccer League , he scored 14 goals this season in his first year, leading the club to fourth place in the table. He was behind Knowledge Musona tied with Lehlohonolo Majoro, the second top scorer in the league. After he was the top foreign goalscorer in the championship with nine goals this season, the club extended its contract, which expired at the end of the season, by exercising options in the spring of 2013.

In the summer of 2013 Mushekwi moved on loan to the Belgian club KV Ostend . In the 2013/14 season he finished ninth in the table with the promoted team, but won the subsequent Europa League playoffs. Due to an injury, however, he had not been able to participate since mid-February 2014. Since his South African club had already filled all foreigner places in the squad, he could not appear for the club after his recovery.

At the beginning of 2015, a loan deal with the Danish club Hobro IK was already reported. Mushekwi, however , moved to the Swedish club Djurgårdens IF shortly before the end of the winter transition period in April , where he had previously convinced as a test player, and signed a loan agreement until the summer. There he appeared as a regular goalscorer and helped the club to a place in the top third of the table at the start of the season. By the end of the loan period in late August, he had scored twelve championship goals. After possible transfers had not been realized by the end of the changeover period , he returned to South Africa.

For the 2016 season he moved to China to the then second division club Dalian Yifang . In 2017, the club was promoted to the Chinese Super League . In 90 championship games, the winger scored a total of 54 goals for the club. In the summer of 2019, he then joined league rivals Zhejiang Greentown .
