The building at Obere Marktstrasse 1 in Bad Kissingen , the major district town of the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen , is one of the Bad Kissingen architectural monuments and is registered in the Bavarian Monument List under number D-6-72-114-70 .

history

The half-hipped roof was built in the second half of the 18th century as part of the earlier development on the market square. The roof shape and window frames are late baroque elements. The Madonna figure in the rococo style dates from the 18th century.

The building in Bad Kissingen (in addition to the Marktplatz 5 and Weingasse 8 properties ) is an early example of the construction of larger-scale buildings with a third floor and combining several parcels .

There were a number of modifications to the premises instead, such as the half-timbered dormer the eaves or the bay window at the rear gable end (both in 1895 Gründerzeit emerged).

The property contains apartments and several shops.
