Pierre Hansen (* 1976 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourg filmmaker , screenwriter and drummer .

Life

Hansen grew up in Luxembourg, studied six years at the Maastricht Conservatory (Bachelor and Master degree in jazz drums) and then moved to Aachen . In 2007 his 30-minute short film Bordun was made in the Aachen region , which premiered at the Metropolis Filmtheater in Würselen at the end of April 2008 and was also shown at the 6th Aachen Short Film Festival in the same year. His short film Der Solist , completed in 2011, received  an honorable mention at the SoundTrack_Cologne 8.0 Festival. His short film Elderly Spring , made in 2014, was shown at the Festival du Court-Métrage de Clermont-Ferrand , as part of the “Discovery Zone” festival in Utopolis in the Luxembourg district of Kirchberg and at the Tirana International Film Festival . D'Filmakademie Luxembourg in Bartringen nominated the film for the Lëtzebuerger Filmpräis 2016 in the category “Best Fictional Short Film”.
