The Hofreite in Oberstraße 22 is a building in Darmstadt-Eberstadt .
History and description
The Dreiseithofreite was rebuilt in the middle of the 19th century . The two-storey half - timbered main building with a massive ground floor has a hipped mansard roof . The courtyard is oriented with the eaves side towards Oberstraße . At its core, the half-timbered house contains two individual, older buildings. The inner courtyard is framed by a single-storey, narrow outbuilding with a mansard roof and a transverse gable roof barn . There is a historic field stone pavement in the courtyard . The inner courtyard is accessed through the side doorway. Today the facade is plastered .
Monument protection
The overall preserved three-sided courtyard is a cultural monument for architectural and city-historical reasons .
