Oersted Medal
The Oersted Medal is an award given by the American Association of Physics Teachers since 1936 for outstanding achievements in physics teaching and didactics. It is named after Hans Christian Ørsted and the highest honor in this field in the USA. The award presentations are published regularly in the American Journal of Physics .
