Olaf Henning
Olaf Henning (born March 14, 1968 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German composer and pop singer .
Life
Henning received piano lessons as a schoolboy and founded his own band. He worked as an insurance salesman for eleven years .
Musical career
His musical career began with the self-composed title I'm no longer your clown (The ring is empty) . Other songs like Maddalena (with Michael Holm ), Red Alert and Queen of Hearts followed.
In October 2000, his title Das Spiel ist aus (Game Over) won the monthly ranking of the ZDF Hit Parade, clearly ahead of Nino de Angelo and GG Anderson . In December 2000 he took third place in the ZDF annual hit parade, his hit Cowboy and Indian 2006 initiated a dance, the so-called lasso dance . Although the first version was recorded in 2000, it only had the big breakthrough with the lasso dance , which was invented by the Mallorca Cowboys .
In addition to his musical activities, Olaf Henning also ran his own music club, the Deluxe in Gelsenkirchen, where he occasionally appeared as a disc jockey . Olaf Henning has been under contract with Zoom Music since 2020 and released the single Ich Schwöre in the same year .
Private
Henning has lived at Klostersee in Borken-Burlo since October 2010 . From 2002 to 2004 he was married to the pop singer Andrea Berg . Since 2005 he was married to Adriana, with whom he has a daughter (* 2005). The separation took place in the summer of 2015.
