Olaf Andreas Krätke (born August 31, 1959 in Dortmund ) is a German actor , director , author and film producer .

Life

Krätke, the youngest son of the actor couple Hansjoachim and Ingeborg Krätke, took acting lessons from his father and his actor colleague Dirk Hardebeck. His career began in 1965 with a supporting role in the play Pinocchio at the Dortmund Municipal Theaters . Since then Krätke has played in a number of theater, film and television productions, occasionally acting as a director outside of his role as an actor.

In 2009, Krätke appeared in the movie Wickie and the Strong Men as the wise Urobe among the main actors, for which he applied in advance in the casting show Bully sucht die Strong Men .

His violence prevention project "Secret thing Igel" (violence prevention for children in elementary schools and elementary schools) celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2018 with over 4,000 performances. In the meantime, his prevention play is also being performed in Berlin, Schleswig-Holstein, Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, Bavaria, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Hesse, Saxony and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, as well as in Austria and Switzerland. In addition, Olaf Krätke is also active as a writer. His poems have appeared in various anthologies , as well as in the books A Lot of Life and My Life's Melody .
