Olaf miracle

Olaf Wunder (born December 23, 1964 in Radevormwald ) is a German journalist .

Life

From 1986 to 1990 Olaf Wunder studied political science , German and history at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . As a soldier he served in the information and press staff of the Federal Ministry of Defense (1984/85). He worked as a freelance journalist for the Remscheider General-Anzeiger and the Solinger Tageblatt , became editor of the daily newspaper Die Glocke in 1992 and switched to the Mitteldeutscher Express in 1994 . He has been working for the Hamburger Morgenpost since 1996 and has been the chief reporter there since 1999.

Awards

In 2000 he was one of the winners of the German Local Journalist Award , which the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung awards every year. In 2005 he was awarded the "Illuminated" media prize from the DGB Hamburg.
