Oleg Alexandrovich Skopinsev

Oleg Alexandrowitsch Skopinzew ( Russian Олег Александрович Скопинцев ; born April 15, 1984 in Krasnodar ) is a Russian handball player .

The 1.83 meter tall and 82 kilogram heavy middle back player was under contract with Medvedi Chekhov from 2001 , and from 2007 he played in the first team. There he was Russian champion in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 and cup winner in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. In 2009/10 he reached the Final Four in the EHF Champions League . His greatest success was winning the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2006. In 2012, he moved to the Belarusian club HC Dinamo Minsk , with whom he was champion and cup winner in 2013. Since 2013 he has been playing for the Ukrainian club HK Motor Zaporozhye , with which he became champions in 2014.

Oleg Skopinsev scored 63 goals in 47 international matches for the Russian national team and is in the squad for the 2014 and 2010 European handball championships .
