Oliver Anderson (born April 30, 1998 in Brisbane ) is an Australian tennis player .

Career

Anderson mainly plays on the Future Tour .

In 2016 , he received a wildcard for qualification at Brisbane International in his hometown of Brisbane . In this he won 813th in the world rankings against Dennis Novikov (ATP 150) and Tim Smyczek (ATP 109) and thus took part in the main draw of a tournament on the ATP World Tour for the first time. In the opening round of the main draw, however, he lost to Ivan Dodig 3: 6, 2: 6. He then got a wildcard for qualifying for the Australian Open and for the main field of the junior edition. While he was eliminated from the seniors in the second qualifying round, he won the junior title with a win against Jo'rabek Karimov in the final.

In January 2017, Anderson was banned from all tennis tournaments until further notice on suspicion of match-fixing in October 2016 at the Challenger tournament in Latrobe Valley , Australia.
