Oliver Klein (judge)

Oliver Klein (* 1974 in Heidelberg ) is a German lawyer . He is a judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Live and act

After completing his legal training Klein 2002 from the University of Freiburg in 2002 with the constitutional work benefit of others freedom of Fundamental Rights: Analysis of a supposedly special fundamental right type for Dr. iur. PhD. In the same year he joined the higher justice service of the state of Baden-Württemberg . There he was initially employed at the Freiburg public prosecutor and later worked at the Baden-Baden District and Regional Court . From 2005 to 2008 he was seconded to the Federal Constitutional Court as a research assistant , after which he was assigned to the Freiburg public prosecutor's office as planned at the end of his time as assessor. For the most part, however, he was active elsewhere by way of secondments, for example from the Federal Chancellery , the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court and the Freiburg Regional Court . On December 30, 2014, he was promoted to judge at the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court. In March 2016, Klein was elected judge at the Federal Court of Justice . He took up this position on July 4, 2016 and was appointed to VI , who was primarily responsible for the law of tort and medical liability law . Civil Senate assigned.
