Oliver Marquardt

Oliver Marquardt (* 14. July 1969 in East Berlin ) is a German techno - musicians and DJ . He became known under the pseudonym DJ Jauche . Since 2001 he has also appeared under project names such as Jack Flash and Robin Masters Orchestra .

Life

Oliver Marquardt grew up in Berlin. His older brother is the photographer and Berghain doorman Sven Marquardt .

He initially trained as a waiter. Influenced by the US breakdance film Beat Street , he made the decision to become a DJ in 1984 and in 1989 bought his first record player. After the fall of the Wall , Marquardt started organizing techno parties in Berlin in 1990 and became a resident DJ in the Berlin club Walfisch . From the mid-1990s he performed in Austria, Switzerland, Poland and Italy, among others.

In 1998 Marquardt founded the independent label Jetstream . Together with Björn Brandt, he ran the Machomovers project from 2001 , the first publication of which, the Night Dimensions EP , was released on Komfort Musik in the same year . Project Sexy's debut album was released in 2003 on Sonntag Music . In 2006 the second album Bare, Deep & Long , also followed on Sonntag Music

Marquardt also works as a producer. Among other things, he produced the DAF album Fifteen New DAF Songs (2003).
